EMPLOYEE 
TRAINING

INDIVIDUALIZED PCA TRAINING 
All caregivers are required to complete Minnesota Department of Human Services Individualized PCA Training. The online training course is now available in several languages and is free of charge. The training must be completed before you begin working. To register for training, you must provide the DHS with a valid email address where training certificate will be sent. The training will take approximately 30-45 minutes. When you pass the test, you must print a certificate of completion right away. Please email a copy of the certificate to hr@mcsmn.com. A GUIDE TO HOME CARE SERVICES 
This guide was prepared by the Minnesota Department of Health, Division of Compliance Monitoring, as a means to satisfy Minnesota Rule 4668.0075, and Minnesota Rule 4668.0805, "Orientation to Home Care Requirements" and is intended as an overview and not a replacement of the licensure rules or statutes. Not every rule and statute is restated or explained in this guide. Individuals should refer to Minnesota Home Care Licensure Statutes 144A.43-144A.47 and Minnesota Home Care Rules 4668 and 4669, the Vulnerable Adults Act Minnesota Statute 626.557 and 626.5572 and the Maltreatment of Minors Act, Minnesota Statute 626.556 for specific requirements. IN-SERVICES 

Please go over the material and complete the training modules for the corresponding year below. The easiest way to do this is to take your test out and answer the test questions while you are reading through the materials. Please return the acknowledgement page only. Once we receive the completed signature pages, they will be added to your personnel file. These in-services will complete the required in-service training for PCAs and HMKs. If you have any questions regarding your in-services please call the office.
